The 1st impression is the most important and the following is how to give a positive 1st impression of you in the eyes of women.
(1) Good grooming means naturalness. Avoid overly styled clothes or hair. Women like hair that moves especially when it has been moved into that shape by a hair-dryer. Hair that seems overly cared for, and this applies to beards and mustaches, in some ways makes a man seem less, not more masculine.
(2) Fitness isn't much of a turn-on for women. A man's perfect physique or blatantly over-muscled body gives out strong but intimidating signals. This perfection makes a woman think twice before approaching him.
(3) Flirtatious women also like men to wear a fragrance, because this shows the man cares which makes him seem more approachable. Women dislike, however, the flagrant use of those breath-sprays. "It's like saying, sure she will kiss me, and to prove what a sweet guy I'm, I will spruce myself up." Use breath mints instead.
(4) Put on navy blue loose-fitting short-sleeved shirt; match this with grey slacks. A tweed jacket with patches on the elbows. (For some reason women either really love this look or don't notice it, so you can't go wrong. A very good "intellectual" look.)
(5) Wear khaki slacks to go with long- or short-sleeved shirts.
(6) Stay away from gold chains (unless you know this could attract the woman you are particularly interested in), dark suits and vests (unless you're going after a woman with an MBA), and safari outfits (at best she will assume you have already been on that trip to Africa without her. At worst she will think you are a man searching for a hobby).
(7) Women like light colors. For shirts, pale blue, yellow, blue and white stripes, and beige. For sporting outfits, stick with blue and dark green. If your sportswear could be mistaken for the flag of any country, wave this outfit good-bye. Although brown and black are nice colors, too much of them can be a real turn-off.
(8) Choose a pair of shoes to make you appear more casual and easy-going. But I don't suggest going into extreme casual by wearing slippers. Wearing shoes make you look neater to women.
